Primary 2 – Learning Project : “Brainwave”
P2 students were happy to join LeaPro as the learning celebration in Semester 1. They learned how the brain worked when they solved a problem. P2 students were given a chance to help Mrs. Phita, a mom of two children who needed help tidying up her children’s bedrooms. Her children’s bedrooms were so messy many toys were scattered all over the rooms. Then, the students tried to make something to help Mrs. Phita solve her problem.
They thought about making a toy keeper to keep Mrs. Phita’s children’s toys. On this occasion, the students found that 3D shapes such as cubes, cuboids, and cylinders could be used as a design for the toy keeper. Next, they learned about bending the 3D shape template to make the toy keeper. They also decorated the toy keeper creatively so that Mrs. Phita’s children wanted to tidy up their toys and solve Mrs. Phita’s problem. ***
