Wininda Wahyu Winanti
My name is Wininda Wahyu Winanti. I have been teaching at FIS since 2007. This academic year, I am teaching Science for Primary 5. Kids are great scientists at any age. Teaching Science means taking the students into a world of joy and excitement.
Young children are natural scientists who are constantly exploring the world around them. There is so much to learn through experimentation with simple materials. The student joy of learning has inspired me to prepare fun and meaningful activities.
I also have to be ready whenever the students ask unpredicted questions out of curiosity. The challenging part is I have to be able to transfer the scientific terms in a simple way that the students can absorb easily. For them, learning Science is fun because they have a chance to explore a piece of new knowledge through their actions. ***
