Toddler – Science: Sinking and Floating
Our curious Toddlers turned water play into a thrilling science laboratory with an engaging floating and sinking experiment!
Gathered around jars of water, little scientists eagerly observed what happened when everyday objects—like spoons, pencils, saucers, flowers, leaves, Lego bricks, staplers, and scissors—were dropped into the water. The excitement peaked when the toddlers chose their own items to test under teacher guidance, cheering as they discovered which objects floated on top and which sank straight to the bottom!
By testing, observing, and describing their findings out loud, our toddlers sparked early scientific thinking, expanded their vocabulary, and made fascinating connections to water play in their everyday lives!
