Toddler Prep Class – Practical Life: Let’s Have Our Meal Time
The Toddler Preparation class has introduced a mealtime activity twice a week, where students learn to independently manage their own meals. During this activity, they practice opening their own lunch boxes and eating their meals by themselves. The aim is to foster independence in their daily routines, while also enhancing their fine motor skills as they use their fingers to open containers, grip their food, and handle utensils.
The students were visibly excited to share this mealtime experience with their friends, eagerly taking part in the activity. Not only does this practice encourage self-sufficiency, but it also builds their confidence as they master these important life skills. ***
