Toddler: Practical Life Activities
Toddler students had a fun-filled day of learning and movement in Practical Life Activity. They started with important practical life activities—learning how to drink carefully, sit properly, wipe spills, clean the table, and sweep the floor. These small skills help the little ones big in independence!
Then they traveled back to the time of the dinosaurs! They looked at different dinos like the Diplodocus (so BIG!) and Compsognathus (so tiny!), and compared their heads, tails, and sizes. Our curious Toddler explored opposites like big vs. small through pictures and playful questions which help them to develop their vocabulary, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Next, they imitate the movements of the dinosaurs like stretch up, arms and legs out, dash around, and stomping. After all that dino action, we remembered: even dinosaurs need a break and water! Our little dinos practiced drinking carefully, sitting properly, and even wiping up spills—just like real dino experts!
These activities helped them to develop independence, concentration, and motor skills. They also prepare them for everyday tasks and help them learn to take care of themselves and their environment. What a dino-riffic day of learning and fun! ***
