Toddler: Motoric Activity
Developing fine motor skills will certainly support cognitive development. Therefore, the Toddler students were invited to do a dough kneading activity, which strengthens their arm and finger muscles. They were then asked to roll the dough and cut it with a plastic knife.
This taught them to have good hand-eye coordination. They also learned about self-safety simply by learning how to hold the knife properly and that they can only use the knife under adult supervision. ***
