Toddler – Maths: Dinosaurs, Line up!
Hands-on activities play an important role in helping students at the toddler level understand the concept of ordering numbers. By being physically engaged with dinosaur puppets, students were challenged to order numbers 0–2 through matching. This playful activity also highlighted how numbers relate to one another, which strengthens their understanding of number order.
Through lining up the dinosaur puppets, students moved from concrete experiences to abstract thinking.
