Toddler – Maths: Colour the Jungle
Toddler students were exposed with the jungle environment where they might find trees. They learned about the ambience of the jungle through the video and pictures shown by teacher.
Learning about colour is a fun activity for toddler. They were exposed with red, yellow, and blue. Toddlers also were encouraged to make their own jungle by colouring the trees in various colours. They showed their enthusiasm in crumpling the wax paper and painting with the paintbrush in a groups.
By doing this creative activity, children will be encouraged to learn about colours while making simple artwork using various techniques. Toddlers also gain a simple visualization that trees are not only green but also colourful. ***
