Toddler – Entry Point: To the Rescue!
Toddler students started learning a new unit, “To the Rescue!”. They conducted an entry point by having the Mighty Freeze in the class who stole the box. Students then collaborated to look for the box hidden by the Mighty Freeze by following the snowflakes.
After finding the box, students revealed it and saw superhero costumes such as capes, belts, masks, gloves, and boots. This activity was aimed to introduce new vocabulary and give students chances to have an imaginative play at once. Students were also motivated to develop the confidence to try new challenges, practice new skills, and strengthen their social skills by helping others, just like superheroes in the stories shared during this learning unit. ***
