Toddler – Entry Point: This is Me
Toddler students started the new theme, “This is Me” by wearing their favorite clothes. With the teacher’s guidance, they learn to explain the reasons why they like their clothes and also learn to appreciate the differences in what their friends like by observing the different clothes their friends wear. In role-play activities, they also develop their cognitive abilities by guessing who owns a suitcase containing several types of clothes and passports in a suitcase. They also compare it to their clothes based on color, size, and type. Their curiosity was seen when they listened to the explanation given by the teacher and opened the bag’s contents to find out the owner of those items. Apart from developing social and cognitive skills, through this activity, they will develop their communication skills as they communicate. ***
