Toddler – Entry Point: Minibeast Exhibition

Toddler – Entry Point: Minibeast Exhibition

Toddler students enthusiastically joined the activity in the new theme of Minibeast Around Us. They were introduced to some minibeasts such as caterpillar, worm, cricket, snail, and ant through “The Minibeast Exhibition”. They held a simple observation and exploration together under teachers’ guidance and supervision.

Children also watched the story of “Ms. Spider’s Tea Party” which they were reviewed to some kinds of minibeast they might find both at school or at home. Students showed their confidence to recognise the minibeast by imitating their movement (butterfly= flying, ant= crawling, etc) through flash cards and minibeast realia.

Through these joyful activities, toddler students will have a meaningful experience by observing and exploring the minibeast directly. They also have the real visualization through the media and learn how to keep and take care the minibeast properly. These activities also bring students to enrich their vocabularies based on the theme.
