Toddler – English: Reading Two-Vocabulary Pictures
Toddler students had a joyful learning experience through the story Kipper’s Toy Box. The story led to a playful toy hunt, where they helped Kipper find his lost toys around the school. Students showed great excitement and curiosity, while also recalling and recognising familiar objects in a fun way.
Back in class, the learning continued with colours. Using red and yellow cards, students connected colours with toys to form two-vocabulary pictures such as “red lego”, “yellow ball” , etc. Through matching and reading activities, they applied and analysed their knowledge while strengthening language, thinking, and visual skills.
Beyond recognising toys and colours, activities like this nurture critical thinking, persistence, and collaboration. Students learn that discovery is both fun and meaningful—an attitude that will support them as confident, curious learners in the future. ***
