Toddler – English: Reading Couplets

Our energetic Toddlers combined active movement with early literacy during an action-packed language and color adventure!

The learning fun kicked off as little ones reviewed primary colors (red, blue, yellow) and animal vocabulary (bird, fish, tortoise) by flapping, swimming, and waddling like their animal friends. Building on those movements, teachers modeled color-animal couplets—such as “blue bird”, “red fish”, and “yellow tortoise”. Toddlers then tackled the ultimate jump-and-read challenge: leaping across the room to identify and call out the correct word pairings!

By fusing gross motor play with early reading and active listening, our toddlers built confidence, color recognition, and essential everyday communication skills!
