Toddler – English: Rainbow Sea Animals
Toddler students joined in a learning activity focused on reviewing thematic vocabularies using the pictures followed with the sight words. Through these visual medias helped students to understand in recognising the sea animal pictures.
Students were also introduced to a new story entitled “The Rainbow Fish” to know the visual of a fish and learn about the fish’ body parts (head, scales, fins, and tail). We also told students that sea animals have various colour such as red, blue, yellow, and green. At the end, Toddlers were asked to make the rainbow sea animals by hand-printing.
By experiencing these fun activities, learning becomes meaningful and enjoyable. These activities improve children’ speaking skill, help the students in understanding the simple story, and develop their confidence to answer questions related to the story. Furthermore, these make vocabulary learning more enjoyable for students.
