Toddler – English: Minibeasts Hunt
Dealing with Toddler’s learning activity about minibeast, toddler students conducted an activity at the Playground for hunting the minibeast pictures. They explored the Playground as observed the minibeast habitat (in trees, in bushes, and underground).
Regarding to this outdoor activity, they tried to connect what they have learnt in the classroom about minibeast characteristic and their habitat. Here, they collected the pictures into the cup. When they have finished, students brought them to the classroom and recognised the pictures in front of teachers by pointing and mentioning the minibeasts’ name.
This activity was designed to give children an opportunity in building their awareness to take care of the living things and environment surrounding. They practiced to take care of the minibeast they found by handling them gently. They could apply this behavior both at school and at their home.
