Toddler – English: Colour Recognition
Toddler students reviewed jungle animals by asking them to walk around the class and see some animal pictures such as elephants, monkeys, tigers, crocodiles, and also birds as if they were in the jungle. Students then learned more about birds and highlighted one of the features of birds, which is the feathers.
Furthermore, as the animal rescuers, students are asked to help the bird make new feathers by painting the feather patterns with red, blue, and yellow colors and then pasting them on the bird’s body. Through this activity, students strengthened their color recognition. At once, they were also involved in group work as they had to color the bird outline in groups. ***
