Toddler Beijing English : Recognising some vegetables

Toddlers were excited to play the role of the sellers. The teachers, as the buyers, reinforce their recognition of some vegetables. “What do you have? Can I have some carrots, please?”, “give me potatoes and broccoli,” then, the sellers gave the vegetables asked by the buyers. In this activity, Teachers also provided play money so students could role-play transactions, paying and accepting change like in the market. Further, by exposing them to vegetables, teachers promoted the importance of healthy habits, one of which is eating vegetables. ***
