Hi, I’m Riana. Being a primary teacher since 2011 has made me realize that every child can learn. The learning will be valuable through the proper stimulation. Focus Independent School provides a safe and friendly learning environment to encourage students to develop their knowledge and behavior.
Teaching English in Primary 1 is a great experience. It is my chance to shape students’ basic English through stories, non-fiction texts, and poems. Designing fun and meaningful learning based on the student’s needs will help them to be able to express their ideas confidently in English. Sets of training conducted by the Learning Centre (LC) direct me to make a better lesson plan and class management. In FIS, a positive learning atmosphere is not only for students but also for the teachers. Everybody is learning here. ***
