Primary 6 – Visual Arts: Making Poster
On this day, Friday 19 January 2024, Primary 6 students made a poster with the theme “Beautiful Indonesia”. They were given the freedom to draw some elements related to the theme such as culture, musical instruments, dance, food, or iconic places in Indonesia. At the beginning of the lesson they analyzed everything they knew about Indonesia and the teacher wrote down the answers on the whiteboard.
The teacher had given the drawing reference, then the students followed up by drawing it with their creativity. They were then asked to color it with crayons and pencils. They were allowed to decorate their creation to make their poster more interesting. ***
