Primary 6 – Science: Boiling Process

In Science class, P6 students learned that matters can change in states. The change from a liquid into a gas can be done by evaporation or boiling process. For a liquid to change into gas faster, we can choose the boiling process.

To prove this statement, students had a chance to experiment with boiling water using laboratory equipment (beaker, asbestos net, tripod stand, and gas burner). After the experiment, the students found out that boiling happens throughout the liquid and many bubbles are formed. Boiling is a fast process and it leads to evaporation. ***
