Primary 6 – Maths: Constructing A Circle
Today, P6 students learned how to construct a circle. First, they recognized parts of circles which consist of center, radius, diameter, and circumference. After that, the teacher showed how to use a compass to make a circle then students tried to make a circle individually in their notebook.
For each circle made, students had to identify the parts of a circle by measuring the radius and diameter using a ruler and labeling it. It was a fun activity for them. They had a new experience in using a compass to construct a circle. ***
