Primary 6 – IPC: Make Healthy Sandwich
P6 student learnt about how knowledge, skill and understanding are being assessed through mini project entitled ‘Build Your Healthy Sandwich’. This project is to assess their understanding about healthy sandwich. At first, student gained knowledge about what healthy sandwich is and its ingredients.
Then, they chose the ingredients for their sandwich. In the next meeting, students were asked to make the sandwich and explain how to make it. They made the sandwich enthusiastically and could explain the steps to teacher.
Finally, they celebrated their activity by eating sandwich together. They were happy to eat and share their experience. At the end of meeting, P6 students reflected that knowledge, skill and understanding can be assessed in many ways. Therefore, they need to master the knowledge and skill to have better understanding. ***
