Primary 6 – Global Perspective: Making Model Product
Primary 6 students started an excited project to learn topic Sustainable Technology for Future Needs by making model product. They worked in groups of four and found that technology must improve to make lives better for people and environment. Each group had to designed a product that would improve their life, like toys, learning tools, or way to help with school. Making model project made them think creatively about how technology can meet real needs in their community.
First, students began by planning their models carefully. They had to come up with make, product audience, 3 features, benefits and impact toward the environment. Some groups designed fun playground equipment for all abilities, while others made learning tools to make classes more interesting.
As they built the prototype of the product, they thought about the material that give good impact to the environment. Through trying and adjusting, they made their designs work well and be kind to the environment.
This project taught P6 students important lessons about working together and solving problems in creative ways. They learned that new ideas should consider the well-being of both people and the planet.Even simple solutions can make a big difference in everyday life. By learning about technology and sustainability early on, these students are becoming responsible inventors and citizens. Their excitement and thoughtful designs show that understanding sustainable technology is about care, creativity, and wanting to make the world better for everyone.
