Primary 6 – English: Puppet Show
P6 students read a lot of narrative texts. They showed a great interest, especially in fable. For the Practical Test, students are challenged to perform a simple puppet show with fable as the theme. To add the challenge, students made the fable on their own.
The fable is made by deciding the moral value that each student wants to deliver. After they decided the moral value, they chose the characters. The popular choice is the herbivores vs carnivores. They spent some meetings to make the properties for their show, including the background picture, the stage as well as the puppets. Students showed great effort and enthusiasm in the process. They tried their best. At the performance day, they proudly told the story with confidence. ***
