At first, students were asked to share their learning process and also the making process of their products. Then, they put their own products in each table complete with the draft and feedback paper so everyone can write the feedback directly in the paper. They were given 25 minutes to move around to see all the products, discussing and observing the products in detail. The last activity was having reflection with students, they were identifying some interesting feedback from their friends as consideration to fix their products to be better. They also do the reflection note to highlight their achievement from the learning cycle that they have face.
The walking gallery actually the opportunity for the students to test and introduce the products to the user or other friends. The aim was to identify whether their products had already fulfill the needs of the user and to know their friends’ point of view about their products as well. The students were having tough learning experiences through Design Thinking phases and showing their efforts in making the products. Students were set to be independent in deciding the best solution for the case they have got through the visual products. On the other hand, they also need to be open minded for the feedback as part of improvement of the products. Respecting each others’ creation and opinion also build confidence to show the products in public were some of the values that the students gained through the the activities done this time.
