Primary 5 – SLC: Let’s Celebrate Our Achievements!
To celebrate their learning, P5 students presented their works in front of their parents in Students Led Conference yesterday. In this occasion, they had given a chance to show their learning experience and achievements in Term 3 in front of their parents proudly. After the presentation, parents also actively gave positive feedback to students in a form of appreciation or asking questions about the project.
As the preparation, teachers shared all projects guidance for students to choose to be presented in SLC day. Then, they made the projects with teacher’s guidance. Some of them chose to present their letter, realism drawing, experiments, brochure, advertisement and many more.
The purpose of the activity is to strengthen students and parents bounding as well as to improve students’ confidence and communication skills. By having their own consideration in choosing the project, students also trained to be more responsible for their work.
After this series of activities, students can build their awareness in building their readiness to accept more feedback and improve their learning with growth mindset.
