P5 students have learned about adaptations in Science. By this chance, they have known about animals and plants which live in certain environments and how they adapt to its environment. At first, they were having a discussion about three environments: hot and dry environment, wet environment and cold environment. In this discussion, they were gaining knowledge about the characteristics of the environments. After that, they were asked to classify some pictures of animals and plants based on the classification of the 3 different environments in the group work activity.

During the process, they were working together to classify the animals and plants before the teacher gave the confirmation. Through this activity, the students can develop their critical thinking skills as they are given the chance to analyze the information before classifying. By doing so, they are given a precious moment to gain more understanding about the animals and plants in an interesting way. ***
