Primary 5 – Orientation Week : Science
In the orientation week, P5 students did fun Science experiment. They created a hidden message using lemon water as the ink. They also needed fire as the heat source to reveal the writing.
First, the students wrote a short message on a white paper and dried it.
Next, they roasted the paper using a lit candle and the hidden message appeared slowly. Through the experiment, P5 students learnt that the magic of this reappearing ink is in the citric acid of lemon water and oxidation process.
