Primary 5 – Global Perspective Exit Point Exhibition: Travel Around The World

rimary 5 students successfully held their Exit Point exhibition to show everything they’ve learnt and created during Term 4. Working in groups, the students made colourful posters about their chosen countries. They shared information about famous places, traditional food, languages, cultures and interesting facts. They also created travel guidebooks filled with useful travel tips. To prepare for the exhibition, the students decorated their classrooms and practiced their presentation skills so they would be ready to welcome visitors.

During the exhibition, the two P5 classes visited each other’s classrooms, with P5 France visiting P5 Belgium’s exhibition and vice versa. The event began with an opening by two student MCs, who confidently explained the program. Each classroom had four country booths. After the opening session, visitors were free to explore each booth. During the presentations, the student hosts explained their topics clearly while the visitors asked thoughtful questions. This created a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere throughout the exhibition.

This hands-on experience gave many positive benefits to the students. By acting as tour guides, presenters and active listeners, they improved their confidence in public speaking and communication skills. Working together to manage the booths also helped strengthen their teamwork and collaboration. Through this project-based learning activity, students developed a better understanding of different cultures around the world and became more curious and excited to learn about other countries.
