Primary 4 Science: Spinning Snake Experiment
In Science, the P4 students learned about energy and energy transfer. Energy can be transferred from one object to another or from one object to the environment. In this activity, the P4 students did a “spinning snake” experiment. They put a spiral paper snake on a stick and put some candles under the paper snake. After some time, the paper snake started to spin because of the heat energy from the candles.
The students looked amazed as they experimented. They were not only learning about science but also about overcoming challenges in a fun and meaningful way. ***
