Primary 4 – Science: Bones and the Skeleton
P4 students learned that their bodies have an internal frame. This frame is made of hard parts which are called bones. The bones form a structure called a skeleton. First, the students identified the main bones and their names. They also learned the functions of the human skeleton and how to take care of the bones to keep them healthy. Next, the students reviewed the knowledge by labeling a skeleton figure using stickers. Last, they recalled their prior knowledge by labeling each of the bones. Through the activity, P4 students learned not only the bone’s structure but also the functions and how to keep the bones healthy. ***
