Primary 4 – Learning Project: Look, Listen, and Learn

The Learning Project for Primary 4 students started on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, with the theme of “Entrepreneur: What it means to be”. This activity aims to build students’ understanding of the business world while developing their skills in business planning and management.

One of the key components of this Learning Project is the preparation of a Business Plan, where students learn to design business strategies, analyse market survey, determine the products they will sell and the selling price, and develop effective marketing plans. As an implementation of their learning, students will bring their business ideas to life by organizing a Mini Bazaar at school. This event provides them with the opportunity to experience how to run a business and engage with customers.

As part of their business planning process, students conducted Look, Listen, and Learn activities through a survey to understand consumer needs. In small groups, they approached the representative of FIS community in Primary (including students, teachers, and S-Team) to inquire about their interest in the products they plan to sell. The data collected from this survey serves for selecting the most desirable products and shaping effective marketing strategies.

Through this survey, students learn the significance of market research in the business world. They gain insights into how customer preferences influence the success of a product and develop business strategies based on the data they collect. This activity does not only enhances their entrepreneurial skills but also strengthens their analytical and communication skills. ***
