IPC – Primary 4 Learn the “Power of Yet”
“It is not that I cannot do it, but that I cannot do it YET. Behind “YET” lies a great opportunity for students to learn better and develop the habit of a growth mindset.
In this activity, the students made their “Not Yet Brochure” as part of their portfolio assignment. Colorful decorations also represented their brochure. Students were excited to share their difficulties and the solutions they had to improve their own learning.
The conclusion that the students accepted is that trying for the best after making mistakes is the way to improve themselves in learning. They learned that by having a growth mindset they will be able to face the challenge and find a solution to it. ***
