Primary 4 – L-Fest: Zumba and Fun Games in Manahan
On Tuesday morning P4 students did Zumba in the Indonesia Room together with Coach JeKa and all P4 teachers. The activity is followed by outdoor activity in Manahan. P4 students walked together to Manahan Stadium to play games with Coach JeKa. They play some fun games such as ball relay with paper and catching the ball in pairs.
Zumba and games activities at the Manahan Stadium were carried out with the aim of refreshing students after completing the series of Final exams that they had taken. In addition, physical exercise was done to allow students to have a light exercise that could make the body healthier, and mind refreshed.
These activities can help students and even teachers to increase self-awareness that it is important for us to maintain a healthy body by doing light exercises such as Zumba. In addition, the games can also be used to deepen students’ ability to work together and increase student focus.
The activity serves as a reference for teachers and students to have a balanced lifestyle. It guides students to think about what happens if they do the activities regularly and not only at school. If students and teachers can continue this kind of activity consistently it will have an impact on discipline, self-awareness, and ability to focus in teamwork. ***
