Primary 4 – L-Fest: Market Day

During Learning Festival Week, P4 students prepared for Market Day by planning their business products carefully. First, they discussed different product ideas and conducted a survey to find out what their friends would like to buy. Then, they analyzed the survey results and presented the data using tally charts, pictograms, and bar charts. Based on the information they collected, the students concluded which products would be most popular and started designing their products.

To create their products, the students used their own belongings and recycled materials from home. This helped them learn the value of creativity and sustainability. They also applied their learning from English lessons by creating advertisements to promote their products. The students designed attractive posters and wrote persuasive messages to encourage customers to visit their stalls.

When Wednesday finally arrived, the students were very excited for Market Day. They confidently displayed and sold a variety of handmade products, such as keychains, bookmarks, hand fans, stickers, and many others. Throughout the event, they practiced communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and money management skills while interacting with customers and managing their sales.

At the end of the activity, the students reflected on their learning experiences. They thought about what went well, the challenges they faced, and what they could improve in the future. To support this reflection process, the teacher provided an exit slip for each student to complete. Through this meaningful activity, the students gained valuable knowledge and real-life entrepreneurial experience.
