
Primary 4 – IPC: Zones of Regulation Role Play
Today, P4 students practiced role-playing about the zone of regulation to control their emotions. Firstly, students learnt what the zone of regulation is, why we need it, and how to apply it.
As a result of their study, they made a mini-drama. This activity was not only aimed to improve the students’ understanding on how to regulate their emotions, but also to help them identify in which zone they were. It helped them to feel the effect of their emotions to their brain, body and attitude. So that they could accept it and reach into the green zone. The students seemed so enthusiastic during the activity. They created a nice role-play with meaningful story. ***
