Primary 4 – English: Persuasive Voices

Primary 4 – English: Persuasive Voices

P4 students learnt about persuasive texts and explored the essential features that make a message convincing and engaging. They analysed the examples of persuasive posters to understand how visuals and language work together to influence opinions.

Taking their learning a step further, students started to design their own persuasive posters to promote their favourite things. Whether it was a most-liked hobby, an interesting book, or favourite food, each student poured their creativity into their designs.

To bring their persuasion skills to life, they delivered persuasive speeches and confidently presented arguments to persuade their audience. This activity not only strengthened their ability to communicate effectively, but it also helped them build confidence in expressing ideas.

Through these engaging activities, students learnt how to communicate persuasively—a skill they can use every day. Whether sharing ideas, standing up for what they believe in or expressing themselves clearly, they are now equipped how to be effective communicators and critical thinkers! ***
