Primary 4 – English: Creating Invented Creature
In English, P4 students learned about fantasy fiction texts and their features. The students learned that one of the features is invented creatures or characters. After having some discussions and reading some examples about the texts, the students were assigned to create their own invented creatures or characters.
They had to draw it on a piece of paper, name the creature, give a short description about it as well as listing down its special power. Some of them drew monsters and some other thought of imaginary creatures as their invented characters. Further, they showed it to their peers in the classroom and shared some interesting information about it. They enjoyed this activity since they could draw any creature they imagine. ***
