Primary 3 – Science : What does the stem of a plant do?
In Science, P3 students learned about “Parts of flowering plants.” They learned that flowering plants have different parts, and each part has its functions. In the process, P3 students experimented to prove one of the stem’s functions, which is to transport water from the roots to the other parts of the plant. Students put a white-petals flower in a glass of colored water. ***

After some time, the petals changed their color. At the end of the experiment, students were explained where did the color of the petals come from and how the petals became colored.

Students were very enthusiastic about experimenting. It was a fun experience that they know more about the natural wonder.
