Primary 3 – Science : Materials and Their Properties
In Science, P3 students learnt about materials and their properties. Each material has properties such as strong, weak, hard, soft, transparent, not transparent, flexible, inflexible, waterproof and absorbent.
In the activity, P3 students did an experiment to find out the most absorbent materials. They tested paper towel, cotton cloth and cardboard. They dipped each paper into the water at the same time. The more absorbent the material is, the faster water will rise through it.
Students enjoyed doing the experiment. They are expecting more experiments that provide them with meaningful learning experience.
