Primary 3 – Science: Investigate the Plant Parts
Primary 3 botanists took their science inquiry into the school grounds for a hands-on exploration of plant anatomy and functions!
The young scientists kicked off their investigation in the classroom, examining real plant specimens to identify key parts: roots, stems, leaves, and flowers. Taking their research outdoors, P3 students worked in collaborative teams to observe, sketch, and accurately label live plants around the school campus. The discovery phase culminated in lively group discussions where teams decoded the vital role each plant part plays in keeping flora alive and thriving!
By connecting hands-on outdoor observation with scientific reasoning, Primary 3 strengthened their botanical knowledge, teamwork, active communication, and scientific inquiry skills!
