Primary 3 – Science: Identifying Living Things
Primary 3 Science students stepped into the shoes of young researchers to learn how scientists classify the world using evidence—not just appearance!
Through hands-on lessons, students investigated key characteristics of life: needing nutrition, growing, moving independently, and reproducing. Working in teams, they analyzed picture cards, gathered evidence against these criteria, and debated whether items were living, once-alive, or never alive.
By justifying their choices with scientific reasoning, our P3 learners sharpened their critical thinking, teamwork, and scientific inquiry skills!
