Primary 3 – Orientation: Manahan Edu Tour

On Tuesday, 29 July, 2025, Primary 3 students had an Edu Tour at Manahan Stadium. This event was part of living the school’s tagline, Growing Beyond the Classroom. The activity was all about recalling knowledge in some subjects by solving problems in each pitstop.

The tour began with a Science task at the first post where students observed and identified living and non-living things. They continued to the second post to solve Maths word problems, applying what they’ve learnt in class to real-life situations. At the velodrome, they had the chance to meet some Paralympic athletes and observe their training. As part of their PE lesson, students walked around the track to estimate the distance of one full lap, connecting their learning with real measurements. At the last post, English and Bahasa activities were also integrated as students worked on word search, wrote about their feelings, and discussed some rules in joining the activity and in public places. These tasks gave teachers a clearer picture of students’ current understanding in each subject.

Throughout the day, students showed great enthusiasm and teamwork. They asked questions, shared ideas with friends, and completed their worksheets with focus. Many students were excited to meet the athletes and learn outside the usual classroom setting.

The activity ended with a reflection session. Through this Edu Tour, students not only deepen their subject understanding, but also grow in confidence and independence. It was a joyful learning experience that brought the spirit of active and meaningful learning beyond the classroom walls. ***
