Primary 3 – Cambridge Global Perspective: Students Explore The School History Through Timeline Presentations

Primary 3 students stepped back in time to explore their school’s rich history as part of their Cambridge Global Perspectives (CGP) unit. The journey began with classroom lessons and an inspiring Human Library session with a school leader, where students gathered firsthand insights into how their school has evolved over the years.

Equipped with these historical facts, the young historians got to work building visual timeline posters:

  • Organizing History: Students selected key milestones, sorted them chronologically, and identified major changes over time rather than just copying facts.
  • Presenting & Reflecting: During presentations, students explained how these changes shaped their school, supported their ideas with evidence, and answered questions from classmates.

This meaningful project gave students a deeper appreciation for their school community’s growth, helping them realize how understanding the past inspires positive contributions to the school’s future.
