Primary 2: Parents-Teachers Meeting Semester 2
On January 8 2025, parents of Primary 2 students attended Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM). PTM is an important event that allows teachers and parents to meet and share. PTM is aimed to give information about school programs and agenda for the upcoming semester and things that needs parents support for better learning experience. By participating the PTM, parents got the opportunity to stay updated and team up with teachers to support their children.
In PTM, teachers shared an overall review of the students’ activities and development in Semester 1. Then, teachers shared students’ needs as the foundation of the strategies that will be applied in Semester 2. The strategies shared were the options of ways to strengthen concepts and practical skills that the students need to master.
In this meeting teachers also highlighted that parents’ participation in students’ learnings and progress are also important. Parents were encouraged to work hand in hand with school. By working together, parents and teachers would create a supportive environment for the students’ growth.
PTM is a great moment to build stronger bond and trust between school and parents. This two-ways interaction can also build better communication. It would help the students with optimal learning experience as well as supportive learning environment.
