Primary 2 – Maths: 2D Shapes Exploration
Our Primary 2 students had a fun time reviewing 2D shapes. The day began with an exciting shape hunt, where students explored the classroom and the second floor to find and identify circles, squares, rectangles, and triangles. Following the hunt, students were given sets of shapes to create new and unique figures. This engaging, hands-on activity helped them deepen their understanding of basic shapes, think creatively, and prepare for more advanced geometry. Additionally, it improved their shape recognition, enhanced their problem-solving skills, and laid a strong foundation for future learning. ***
