Primary 2 – LeaPro Healthy Teeth, Happy Me: Creating Prototype to Launch Phase
Primary 2 students continued the LeaPro into ‘Create Prototype’ step. This stage demonstrated their comprehension of LeaPro’s objective. They used sponges and colourful Asturo sheets, among other creative tools, to make their thoughts a reality. They had to learn how to use such materials and test their crafting abilities in addition to creating outfits and properties.
They collaborated, exchanged ideas, and even modified their plans in response to group decisions in the Highlight and Fix phase. It resembled a large brainstorming session in which each person’s viewpoint was valued. The nicest part was that they were able to show EY2 students their incredible effort. They performed a wonderful display and shared EY2 kids on the value of brushing their teeth to keep theirs healthy. All Primary 2 students and EY2 students were very excited and involved in every single activity designed by P2 students.
The students’ excitement continued during the reflection phase. They talked about their presentations, sharing what they were proud of and what they could improve. Some suggested speaking louder, while others focused on making their costumes better.
This LeaPro helped them understand not only how to keep their teeth healthy but also how to use English confidently, think critically, work with others, and share their knowledge in a fun way. Keep practicing these skills and ability in the future will be very beneficial and meaningful for their life ahead. ***
