Primary 2: Join Interactive Session with UPH College
On Thursday, September 18th, 2025, fifteen representatives from Primary 2 participated in an engaging and meaningful session with students from Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH College). The activities were led by UPH students and offered a fun, hands-on, and interactive learning experience.
To begin the session, UPH students encouraged the Primary 2 participants to introduce themselves. All students took part confidently, showing great enthusiasm in sharing their names and engaging with new peers.
One of the main activities was a banana yogurt-making session. The Primary 2 students listened attentively, followed instructions carefully, and showed responsibility by maintaining cleanliness throughout the activity.
The session continued with a creative finger painting activity, where students learned a new art technique. They used their fingers to paint a sunflower, helping to stimulate their fine motor skills in a fun and expressive way.
Interacting with UPH students also gave the Primary 2 participants a valuable opportunity to develop their social skills. They practiced adaptability, communication, and respect—growing in confidence as they interacted with older students in a positive and supportive environment.
A key takeaway from the session was the importance of collaboration. The activity not only fostered teamwork but also reinforced the idea that learning can be both enjoyable and meaningful. We hope this experience inspired both Primary 2 and UPH students to continue embracing collaborative learning in the future. ***
