Primary 2 – IPC: Feelings and Colours
Wednesday was an enthusiastic day for Primary 2 students. They happily engaged in exploring various emotions and how these emotions can blend together. The students were excited to understand the significance of recognizing their feelings, similar to the “Colour Monsters.”
In the IPC class, the students watched a storytelling video adapted from “The Colour Monsters” storybook. They learned that humans experience a wide range of emotions, including happy, sad, angry, calm, fear, and love. The students also learned that these emotions can sometimes mix, so it’s important to identify what they are feeling.
They sorted the Colour Monsters into different ‘feeling’ jars and colored the monsters based on their emotions. The classroom was filled with excitement, making it a special and motivating day of learning. ***
