Primary 2 – English: Story Telling Festival
Primary 2 students brought learning to life on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, during their “Storytelling Festival” speaking assessment! Dressed in fun costumes and equipped with creative props, the young storytellers took the stage to introduce characters and retold traditional tales they had selected themselves. When students hit a snag remembering what came next, the teacher stepped in with handy prompts—asking “What happened first?” or “How did the story end?”—to help them sequence their ideas and keep the narrative flowing.
This lively festival turned a standard speaking test into a meaningful celebration of language and performance. By taking charge of their preparation, making creative choices, and sharing stories in front of their peers, students boosted their confidence, sharpened their speech and gestures, and took an exciting step toward becoming independent, responsible learners.
